The Department of Medicine is seeking to hire a motivated Project Director to join the Epidemiology, Policy, and Implementation Lab. This role involves leading a novel program in collaboration with the County of Los Angeles to enhance understanding of the illicit drug supply as part of a larger Harm Reduction Initiative. Responsibilities include managing logistics for a CDC-funded toxicological surveillance project, training community partners, coordinating data flows, preparing reports, supervising volunteers, managing sample collection at events, and liaising with funders and local government partners. This hybrid position entails in-person work at UCLA and in-field work across Los Angeles County, with remote data management tasks responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have six months’ experience in harm reduction outreach, reliable transportation, and preferably bilingual English & Spanish skills as well as knowledge of substance use disorder treatment systems in Los Angeles County. This is a limited position which may convert to career. Annual range: $64,800-$137,600
