JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Description
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) functions in an interdependent role, implementing appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs). By using these SPs, the NP can modify treatment regimens based on observations of signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, general behavior, and physical condition, determining if they are abnormal findings (California Nursing Practice Act, subsection (b) of Section 2725).
The NP will provide and coordinate patient care, offer patient and family education, and promote safe continuity of care. Additionally, the NP will participate in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provide education and support, make appropriate referrals, and document services rendered.
Salary range: $84.82- $121.13/hourly
Qualifications
* BLS, ACLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
* RN or Nurse Practitioner, State of California NP, State of CA NP Furnishing with Schedule II, National Certification (i.e. ANCC),
* Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Nursing
* Acute Care NP Specialty and NPI #, DEA #, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES
* 1-3 years of experience as a NP with cardiology experience, required
