About the job:

The Registered Nurse Specialty positions are responsible for care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Nurse functioning in the spirit of teamwork is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.

What you will Do:

  • Rounds with the physicians and progresses post-op patients according to protocols.
  • Assists provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments.
  • Performs as liaison between vascular physicians, nurses, patients, families and other treating disciplines.
  • Writes orders for admissions and direct admissions, as well as for procedures.
  • Writes discharge instructions and instructs patients/families on continuity of care; confers with discharge planners and/or case managers.

What we are looking for:

  • Graduate from a credited School of Nursing.
  • Current License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • Two years RN experience required; one-year experience in a medical office preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR
