Shift:  Day

Working Hours:  7am - 5:30pm. Call required night, weekend and holidays

IVR/Cath Lab Tech I:

Summary: Radiology Technologist with essential Interventional Radiology training to function independently during cases without a preceptor while using proper sterile technique, radiation safety, and proficiency in procedure data recording. Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, other staff, management, and hospital employees of all areas.

Responsibilities:

1.Punctual and regular attendance.

2.Documents observations, interventions, evaluations, and other written requirements

3.Must have team building skills and excellent intrapersonal skills

4.Able to hold manual pressure until hemostasis is achieved

5.Ability to stand for extended periods of time in lead apron

6.Maintain equipment and supplies

7.Be able to assist in monthly staff meetings

8.Positioning/transfer techniques

9.Process verbal and written information

Min Requirements:

Must be a graduate of an approved radiography or cardiovascular tech program. Must have ARRT certification, or RCVT/RCIS and must have Arkansas Radiologic Technologist license or a limited scope license and CPR.
