Description

The CMU Supervisor oversees the daily operations of Cardiac and Video Monitor Technicians, ensuring patient safety and efficient resource management. This role is responsible for maintaining high-quality monitoring services by ensuring accurate heart rhythm interpretation, prompt reporting of abnormalities, and proper equipment functionality.

Key responsibilities include managing staff scheduling, maintaining adherence to hospital protocols, and fostering effective communication with nursing teams. The Supervisor also plays a critical role in responding to patient emergencies, providing leadership and training, and troubleshooting equipment issues in collaboration with Clinical Engineering and IT. This position upholds organizational goals while promoting excellence in patient monitoring and care.
