Job Requirements
Position SummaryThe Clinical Research Intern will work closely with a manager or preceptor to assist with duties as assigned related to clinical research and program initiatives.  Assist research team with compiling and analyzing data in an organized manner. Duties may include data extraction and entry, filing, and literature review research.  Support other program initiatives as assigned.

 

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • High School Graduate

Experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Pursing a degree in basic science or health related field

License/Registration/Certifications

  • N/A

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Experience

  • Administrative experience

Preferred License/Registration / Certifications

  • N/A

  • Successfully completes education required for Human Subject Protection and Good Clinical Practice
  • Data extraction and entry
  • Compile and analyze data
  • Administrative tasks including filing of records
  • Support preparation for meetings
  • Must be detail oriented and comfortable with Excel
  • Must be meticulous with detail.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be able to respond calmly and efficiently in high stress situations.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time, filling out paperwork.
  • Must have own transportation to other hospitals and doctors’ offices.
  • Must be flexible in responsibilities and work schedule.
  • Must be self-directed and able to work without supervisor.
  • Must be able to work as a team member
