JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Description

As a Pathologists’ Assistant, your primary responsibilities include: • Perform dissection, description, and histologic sampling of a full range of surgical specimens • Perform specimen photography and radiography • Perform frozen sections and other intraoperative consultations • Procure tissue for tumor banking and research studies • Identify, investigate, and resolve problems related to surgical pathology • Assist with accessioning and labeling specimens • Provide assistance to the orientation and training of residents, fellows, new employees, and • Pathologists’ Assistant students in surgical pathology protocols and procedures Salary Range: $86,900.00 – $197,300.00/annual
