Development Specialist, Administrative - Foundation - Full Time 8 hours Days (Non-Union, Non-Exempt)
The Development Specialist will assist in the implementation of administrative processes, systems, and structures that support the strong fundraising program focused on the Foundation.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Assists in the administration and coordination of a variety of administrative projects, including developing and
implementing project goals and strategies, including budgets and financials.
• Provides key day-to-day operational support to Foundation team leaders with administrative functions such as planning,
organizing, coordinating, scheduling, and implementing project activities to meet objectives.
• Coordinates and assembles confidential documentation. Ensures completeness and accuracy of the documentation for
submission to appropriate department/division for review and approval.
• Maintains confidential files. Coordinates and monitors distribution of confidential materials.
• Research data on donors, giving histories, proposal development and biographical summaries.
• Manages day-to-day communications with key members of leadership.
• Assists in planning data collection. Prepares reports, correspondence, other materials and analysis according to project
schedules or on an as-needed basis.
• Assists in developing and updating departmental policies and procedures and coordinating implementation.
• Works with key staff in managing calendar appointments and schedules.
• Assists in fundraising, special events, and other activities upon request, including representing the foundation at assigned
functions. Additional support includes tracking RSVPs, sending invitations, and assist with event planning and set up.
• Assists with logistical support for board committees and board meetings.
• Monitors progress toward completion of assigned tasks. Ensures reports and recommendations are prepared and submitted
in a timely manner and follows-up with implementation, as appropriate.
• Provide customer service support through answering inquiries and providing information to stakeholders such as donors, supporters, hospital staff, etc..
Minimum Experience:
5 years Directly related project or administrative experience.
Minimum Skills:
Self-starter with outstanding computer, communication and people skills.
Strong writing skills.
Excellent organizational skills,
Attention to detail,
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team to achieve goals is essential.
Must be demonstrate expertise and skill in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and email platforms.
A flexible, collaborative, and adaptable work style a sense of humor are also desired qualities.
Pay Transparency
The annual salary range for this position is $29.00 - $45.20.
