I have been a surgical technician for over 23 years. I have had over 13 years in orthopaedics and have been an assistant coordinator of ENT. I have worked in an outpatient surgical center and I have worked in a hospital setting as well. I can scrub any case that is presented to me. I am qualified and open to other services. I am very comfortable filling any role needed in the operating room setting and comfortable scrubbing any surgery.
Education
I was in the Army reserves and got my surgical tech training at Fort Sam Houston.
Experience
Responsibilities include scrubbing cases, cleaning and organizing instruments, equipment, and the surgical rooms. Operated complex equipment necessary in surgeries and assisted doctors and fellow technicians and RNs in any way needed. I have also helped in central sterile supply in any way needed.
