Summary

 

Position Summary

The QAPI Specialist is Responsible for imaging compliance with Facility, State, and National education, competency, and regulatory standards across the hospital system. The QAPI Specialist is also responsible for performing and maintaining records to sustain state regulatory compliance with oversight of Radiation Safety Officer. The QAPI Specialist develops, coordinates, analyzes, and reports on Quality Assessment and Process Improvement data. The QAPI Specialist serves as trainer for QAPI processes, maintains employee orientation and radiation monitoring programs. The QAPI Specialist provides direct patient care in areas of licensure/registry, as required.

 

Minimum Requirements

 

Education

• Associate degree in Radiology Science

Experience

• 1- year experience in Quality or equivalent work-related knowledge

License/Registration/Certifications

• ARRT

• SCQRSA

 

Preferred Requirements

Preferred Education

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Health or Radiology Administration

Preferred Experience

• 5 years’ experience in quality or process improvement

Preferred License/Registration/Certifications

• Registration or certification in multiple modalities, Six- Stigma Green Belt
