Summary:

The Senior Marketing Strategist will develop, manage, and implement marketing designs and initiatives that align with the goals of Yuma Regional Medical Center while overseeing the production of all sources of marketing material, advertising placement, and building marketing relations, overseeing marketing contracts, and maintaining the cost center budget.

Responsibilities:

• The Senior Marketing Strategist develops, manages and implements marketing strategies/initiatives & marketing plans including advertising campaigns and production. Leads the development of comprehensive marketing project briefs with moderate to high visibility in collaboration with key stakeholders. Guides the development of marketing plans, audience segmentation strategies, and email marketing programs. Ensures the team is maximizing the impact of all marketing-related campaigns by maintaining organized reports and dashboards which track the state and threshold of each campaign.
• Works closely with the other teams to review and analyze organizational data and marketing efforts to maximize marketing effort while focusing on actionable insights to help achieve organizational goals. Demonstrates experience leading effective teams.
• Guides the development of the strategic marketing plans in collaboration with other agency partners.
• Provides frequent updates on the latest progress and new opportunities to community relations team.
• Maintains and coordinates advertising placement, contracts and budget, actively tracking and monitoring advertising cost center budget.
• Builds relationships and leads communications regarding marketing efforts with key stakeholders and administrative leaders. The senior marketing strategist works with community relations team member(s) to ensure the alignment and execution of high quality marketing and media strategies within defined timeframe.
• Provides effective training of new staff members and helps identify talent capabilities for furthering the growth of the community relations team. Interview and make recommendations on potential candidates across community relations.
• Oversees the community relations team as a designee when the director of marketing is out of the office.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
• Five (5) or more years of direct experience leading the development and implementation of marking strategy.
• •  Healthcare preferred, but not required.
