Description

 

The Department of Surgery is seeking to hire a full time Senior Fund Manager to have primary responsibility for all post-award administration for intra/extramurally funded research awards for Departmental Principal Investigators (PIs). in this role you will work under the general direction of the Department Chair, Chief Administrative Office (CAO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and other Department leaders and in concert with other research administrative staff.

Duties of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Analyzing problems / issues of diverse scope and determines solutions.
  • Working on complex proposals such as grants / contracts which require task budgets, option years, multiple investigators and multiple sub awards.
  • Organizing, planning, establishing and monitoring fiscal budget control of contracts and grants administration, gifts, endowments, and privately funded projects for faculty research programs.
  • Providing guidance and counsel on complex research administration matters, including compliance regulations, to principal investigators and department administrators.

Pay Range: $70,900.00 – $145,200.00 annually.
