Description
Under the direction of the Scheduling Supervisor and Scheduling Operations Manager, the Administrative Assistant III will complete assigned tasks by following Departmental guidelines and Medical Center policies and procedures. The incumbent will also be cross-trained to support achievement of various departmental responsibilities by performing backup tasks, as needed.
The Administrative Assistant III is responsible for supporting all aspects of support related to scheduling and/or confirming patients for upcoming surgical cases across multiple UCLA Health venues. This incumbent is responsible for working within an interdependent team structure by using strong communication and problem solving skills to maximize customer satisfaction for patients, physicians, nurses, and administrative colleagues. The incumbent must be adaptable and demonstrate good time management skills in order to achieve the department’s goal of completing a variety of time-sensitive tasks with varying daily volumes and complexities. To enable these outcomes, the incumbent is responsible for achieving quality and productivity standards in designated performance metrics.
