RN, Welcome Home Program - Part-time position

About the job:

In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the RN MC Businesses provides clinical nursing support to the indicated department.

This position provides home visits to mom and baby after discharge from a Mount Carmel birthing hospital.

**This position will work 3 days a week, 8 hour shifts

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

· Education: Graduate from school of nursing; BSN preferred

· Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio

· Experience: Actively involved in nursing practice during the past four years; preferably experience in medical/surgical and critical care assessment

· Effective Communication Skills

· Willingness to work with all cultural and socio-economic groups

· Demonstrated ability to assess problematic situations and initiate appropriate plan of action in an environment which has limited support systems

· Effective visual, auditory and tactile perceptions skills

· Demonstrated ability to work and function independently and efficiently in a variety of settings

· Knowledge of local community resource/service agencies which provide assistance to the identified clientele

· Must possess a high degree of motivation, initiative and able to work as a team member

· Current Ohio driver's license

· Requires use of a personal vehicle with valid auto insurance.
