Are you a compassionate and experienced RN ready to take the next step in your career? 4 West is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse to lead our team during the 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift. What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a current SC or Compact State license
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience (3 years preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills

About 4 West

4 West is a 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit with telemetry capability, specializing in General Surgery and Trauma Care. Our patients include those recovering from:

  • GI/Obstructions
  • GI Surgeries
  • CHF
  • Wounds

You’ll gain experience with a wide variety of patient populations and complex medical needs, including tubes, drains, and lines. Our team includes RNs, PCAs, and Unit Ambassadors—all committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee daily unit operations and serve as a clinical resource
  • Coordinate staffing and manage workflow
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Support patient experience initiatives through rounding, bedside shift reports, and huddles

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved/accredited School of Nursing
  • Current RN license in SC or Compact State
  • BLS certification (can be obtained post-hire)
  • Experience in acute care preferred
