Ryan House is a 40 bed program dedicated to helping men and women by providing a sober environment to those individuals who seek recovery from addiction and mental health issues. All clients are treated with dignity, respect, and the belief that everyone has the ability to grow when they are provided support, education and direction. Services include group and individual therapy, employment counseling, relapse prevention, anger management, life skills training, daily self-help meetings and more. The Recovery Specialist position is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction.
Job Description:
- Schedule: Per Diem
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities.
- Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30 minute client well-being checks.
- Conducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties.
- Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor.
- Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience working with substance use population is preferred
- Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferred
Pay Range:
$20.00 – $24.38
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
