Overview

The Provider Recruitment Coordinator will support the growth of Mount Nittany Health through the support of the front end and back end of the provider recruitment process.  The Provider Recruitment Coordinator will assist with identifying qualified provider candidates and developing talent pipelines for future needs.   In addition, the Provider Recruitment Coordinator will engage recently hired providers providing support and guidance to ensure successful navigation of the pre-hire and orientation process.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, required.

Experience:

  • Previous healthcare experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Superior marketing and public relations skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, including excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to proofread for accuracy.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization, including administrators, physicians, peers, and support staff.
  • Exhibits a high level of energy and flexibility in work schedule to meet the onboarding needs of new providers.
  • The ability to multi-task, planning and prioritizing a large volume of detail-oriented work in accordance with changing deadlines.
  • The ability to problem solve and work with minimum supervision, set priorities, and follow through to accomplish results.
  • Strong computer technology skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the ability to function within multiple systems.

Receives general supervision from the Director, Talent Acquisition and Compensation in partnership with the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Provider Network Officer and Chief Medical Officer(s).
