Pay Rate Type: Annual Salary

Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.
Min = $62,613.875
Mid = $78,267.344

Summary:

The Provider Engagement and Retention Liaison collaborates with the department manager/director and Yuma Regional Medical Group Leadership to develop and implement strategies for enhanced provider engagement within the Medical Group. This includes management/coordination of Physician and APP focused activities, events and programs designed to foster relationships, overall engagement, community integration, and retention. This role acts as an advocate for providers in our medical group and works to create a positive environment and provider experience.

Responsibilities:

1) Leads Physician/APP (and family) retention activities and programs to foster community integration and immersion.

a. Plans and manages the Community Coach (integration) program to connect community partners with new providers and their families to ensure a smooth transition into the community and support provider retention. This includes program events, introductions to community members with like hobbies or life experiences so the provider begins to develop strong community connections.

b. Maintains active repository of community happenings and events to share with providers and their spouse/significant other (i.e., microsite/Intranet).

c. Serves as subject matter expert for community activities, groups, clubs, associations and like resources.

d. Acts as a liaison between Physicians/APP’s and community members/ services, to promote and ensure integration into our community.

 

2) Identifies and implements new ways to develop and expand provider engagement and recognition.

a. Coordinates social and networking events including provider service awards banquets, annual event recognition program, and meet and greets.

b. Develops, tracks and reports for engagement success, through provider engagement activities.

c. Makes recommendations and implements new and innovative ideas for provider engagement and recognition.

 

3) Advances strategies and resources to improve provider relationships; thereby, improving provider satisfaction and retention.

a. Utilize approved digital and social medical platforms for communication and to develop connections.

b. Collaborates with marketing to develop materials with the goal to educate Physicians and APP’s on new service areas, departments as well as new providers. Ensure real-time updates and the most accurate information is available.

 

4) Develops and maintains strong community partnerships & relationships

a. Develops and enhances relationships with appropriate community members and leaders, to retain a pulse on what is going on and make available for providers to participate in within the community.

b. Encourage YRMG providers to participate and collaborate in both medical group and community events and activities.

5) Maintains provider engagement & retention tracking systems and data sources.

a. Tracks and produces a monthly report of provider engagement activities, initiatives and attendance.

b. Develops reports and tracking mechanisms for all other identified analytics.

c. Includes accurate documentation of expenses into budget tracking spreadsheet/report.

6) Other duties as assigned and/or requested.
