Job Requirements
Position Summary 

The Program Manager of Genetics will oversee and coordinate various genetic testing programs and projects within our organization. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and ensuring the successful execution of our precision medicine initiatives. The Program Manager will work closely with physicians, the laboratory, and other stakeholders to drive progress and achieve goals.

 

Minimum Requirements

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Experience

·        3 years’ experience with genetic testing

·        Prior management experience.

License/Registration/Certifications       

·        N/A

 

Preferred Requirements

 

Preferred Education

  • Master’s Degree

Preferred Experience

·        10 years’ experience with genetic testing

·        3 years’ management experience

Preferred License/Registration/Certifications   

·        ASCP

 

Core Job Responsibilities

·        Responsible for the coordination, development, implementation and monitoring of genetic testing

·        Coordinates and facilitates provider education

·        Tracks and reports on key performance indicators

·        Responsible for obtaining, analyzing, entering and maintaining accurate genetic data and documentation

·        Develop and implement program strategies and objectives

·        Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

·        Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and collaboration.

·        Monitor and report on program progress, identifying and addressing any issues.

·        Facilitate communication between providers, stakeholders, and external partners.

·        Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.

·        Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the program.

·        Onsite visits to other campuses and offices for education, training, and feedback

·        Other duties as assigned
