Summary:

Under their assigned manager, the Project Leader I is a leadership role within the Information Systems department responsible for supporting Baptist Health's Call Center Services or Help Desk. This role requires expertise in the testing, implementation, troubleshooting, upgrading, and monitoring of information systems and related software, serving as a resource and subject matter expert for the team. The Project Leader works independently on projects ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities include assisting the team manager and other project leaders with project management activities, and potentially serving as the lead on manager-delegated projects. This role contributes to team member evaluations, department budget preparations, and strategic planning upon request. The Project Leader is responsible for training and guiding new team members, ensuring successful problem resolution through effective communication with customers and staff, and providing scheduled on-call support for a production system.

Other information:

Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, or three (3) years of relevant experience in a related field.

Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of experience in an IS or IT healthcare-related role, including at least two (2) years demonstrating strong project management capabilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Requires exceptional written and verbal communication, leadership, presentation, and organizational skills. Must possess the ability to prioritize tasks, work independently on assigned projects, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. Advanced computer/software proficiency is essential. Proven ability to handle multiple priorities, lead/facilitate group discussions, and successfully lead others in project execution.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
