Position Overview

As a Population Health Analyst, you will support reporting and analytics for patient engagement, provider engagement, utilization, risk, and financial performance. You will develop dashboards, validate data, and integrate information from multiple sources to provide insights for clinicians and leadership. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with data visualization tools, and the ability to turn big data into meaningful solutions for population health management.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for quality, finance, and population health
• Analyze financial and utilization trends, including benchmark comparisons
• Integrate data from multiple sources (Epic, payors, vendors) into a unified system
• Utilize predictive modeling for risk and performance projections
• Identify patterns and root causes within large datasets
• Collaborate with clinicians and leaders to provide data-driven insights
• Serve as a super-user for the RHP data warehouse and Epic reporting tools
• Ensure data integrity and timeliness in coordination with vendors
• Produce ad hoc reports and support care management initiatives
• Liaise between RHP and Enterprise Intelligence teams to translate business needs into actionable reporting solutions

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience:
  • 0–6 years in data analytics or business intelligence (healthcare preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts
  • Familiarity with Epic reporting tools and database structure
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools

Preferred:

• 1+ years of healthcare analytics experience
• Project management experience
