Pay: $36.19 - $54.28 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:
Evaluates patients and plans. Implements an effective physical therapy program based on assessment and psychological sensitivity. Maintains professional expertise and assumes responsibility for professional growth. Completes residency requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Performs physical therapy care for the residency-specific patient population.
• Communicates findings and treatment, including patients, families, care managers, providers, compliance, and payer sources.
• Completes required residency mentorship hours and assignments with supervising clinician(s).
• Completes written and live residency testing requirements, didactic learning sessions, classes, lab work, clinical observation and education requirements.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. Preferred: Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Physical Therapist. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
• Minimum Experience: None Required.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
