Description
The UCLA Santa Monica Hospital is seeking to hire a Patient Care Coordinator to join the Orthopaedic Surgery Department. You will provide administrative and academic support to the support. Primary duties include: * Answering and directing central phone lines * Preparation of charts, pre and post procedure and surgical coordination * Patient scheduling, interviewing, and encounter registration * Surgery scheduling and diagnostic tests * Verifying insurance benefits and navigating authorizations * Collect, sort, and distribute all departmental mail, faxes, and scanning * Other duties and cross coverage as assigned Salary Range: $28.23 – $40.44/hourly
