Description

This Optometrist position will provide professional optometric services at the Stein Eye Institute clinics with UCLA Health’s Department of Ophthalmology. You will manage the optical and medical care of patients to the fullest extent allowed by optometric licensing. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: * Perform optometric exams and imaging * Record all examination findings and recommendations * Provide patient education, answer questions, and issue resources * Evaluate and write prescriptions for glasses and contacts * Participate in the identification and recruitment of patients who are eligible for participation in clinical trials * Code and bill for examinations The primary work location for this position will be Stein Eye Calabasas. This position will require travel to multiple UCLA Health locations including, but not limited to, Calabasas and Westwood. Salary Range: $85,900-128,900 Annually
