Summary

Spartanburg Medical Center Church Street campus (SMC-CS) is a division of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. SMC-CS is ranked #2 in South Carolina by U.S. News & World Report in 2020-21. SMC-CS is also a Primary Stroke Center and an American College of Surgeons (ACS)-verified Level I Trauma Center.

Our dynamic rehabilitation team consists of PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, and SLPs who work collaboratively to provide innovative patient care in our 500 bed acute care hospital. Our OT department patient census averages 190 patients daily. Our patient population includes, but is not limited to, orthopedic, neurologic, cardiac, critical care, general medical, general surgical, and oncology diagnoses.

The ideal candidate has acute care experience and adopts and demonstrates our system's core values of accountability, compassion, collaboration, integrity, respect, and stewardship. Prior splinting experience is desired. We are looking for highly qualified and motivated therapists to join our team in providing excellent patient care that aligns with our mission and vision.

Weekends and holidays are required in this position.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy

Experience

Licenses/Registrations/ Certifications

  • SC COTA License
  • Registered with NBCOT
  • CPR-AHA BLS
