Shift :

Work Status: Part Time LESS THAN 32 hours

 

Summary:

This individual provides direct patient care as the Center's Nurse Practitioner according to established protocols, policies, procedures, and accepted standards of care. Functions within approved scope and credentials as approved by Beebe Healthcare credentialing committee. Follow established nursing standards, procedures, and practices, and gives specific patient care directions to nursing and other staff.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

1.1 Provide accurate and timely assessment. evaluation and treatment of patients from six (6) months to the geriatric population. 1.2 Diagnostics- Ability to accurately interpret electrocardiogram and lab tests results. 1.3 Provide accurate and timely diagnosis and care management to patients with chronic illnesses, such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus and asthma. 1.4 Promote disease prevention by using effective risk assessment, coaching and counseling skills. 1.5 As appropriate, provide timely and accurate completion of Annual Medicare Wellness physicals in accordance with Beebe Medical Group policy and Medicare guidelines. 1.6 Ability to appropriately handle unexpected emergent medical situations. 1.7 Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with patients, co-workers and healthcare providers. 1.8 Possess an energetic, compassionate and efficient work ethic with strong organizational skills and effective customer service skills. 1.9 Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to working at other Primary Care locations within Beebe Medical Group as necessary.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other information:

2 - 4 years experience.
