Overview

The Mental Health Counselor will be a contracted role responsible for providing on-site and virtual counseling services to team members dealing with various mental health challenges.

This will be an onsite role, with oversight by the Executive Director of Total Rewards & HR Operations. The schedule may vary based on the needs of team members and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct confidential individual counseling session with team members to address a range of mental health concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, work-related issues, and interpersonal conflicts.
  • Provide immediate support and crisis intervention services to team members experiencing acute mental health crises or emergencies.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate team members� needs and make appropriate referrals to external resources or specialists when necessary.
  • Collaborate with Employee Health, the People Team, and leaders to develop and implement mental health initiatives and programs as needed to foster a supportive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, assessments, and referrals in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

Skills

  • Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills, with knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic expertise.
  • Excellence communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of practice.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends based on team member needs.

Experience & Education Required

  • Master's degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field
  • Current licensure as a mental health counselor in the State of Delaware.
  • Ability to see patients in person and virtually in the State of Delaware.
  • 5+ years of experience providing counseling services, preferably in an organization setting.

Salaries starting at

USD $63,648.00/Yr.
