Shift:  Day

Working Hours:  8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Summary:

The Marketing Specialist plays a key role in advancing the mission and visibility of the Baptist Health Foundation through strategic marketing, communications, and engagement initiatives. This position is responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing and communication efforts that drive awareness, donor engagement, and philanthropic support for the Foundation. Working collaboratively with both the Foundation and Baptist Health System Marketing teams, the Specialist ensures consistent brand messaging and alignment with Baptist Health’s overall marketing strategy. Staff support at events can occur outside normal business hours, and at times, the Specialist may need to be present. This position reports to the Chief Development Officer, with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Baptist Health System Director of Marketing.

Other information:

- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is required. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or digital media is required. Non-profit or healthcare experience is preferred.

- A current, valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed
- Strong skills in campaign management, content creation, analytics, and storytelling.

- Proficiency in social media platforms, CMS tools, and marketing software (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, CRM tools).

- Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Google Workspace.

- Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
- Ability to work independently in a self-directed manner and collaborate with others.

- Must have demonstrated ability to work with all demographics and types of backgrounds.

- Must have demonstrated ability to keep information in strict confidence.

- Must be able to work some night and weekend events.

- Commitment to the mission and values of Baptist Health and Baptist Health Foundation.

- Support additional Foundation initiatives and projects as assigned.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
