Description
The Lead Child Development Center Teacher 2 (Lead Teacher 2), under the supervision of the Child Development Center Manager, is responsible for planning and implementing individualized programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Key duties include creating lesson plans, conducting child development programs, and holding parent conferences. The role may involve working in various classroom settings, including mobile classrooms. The Lead Teacher 2 guides curriculum development ensures compliance with Title 22 State Licensing, Title 5 Program Standards, and NAEYC Accreditation, and conducts children’s assessments using DRDP and other tools. The position requires maintaining a safe, healthy environment and collaborating with parents and staff to coordinate childcare programs. In emergencies, the Lead Teacher 2 will provide first aid as needed. This position in 100% in person, providing direct services to children. Job location may vary within cities in the San Fernando Valley based on Center locations.
This is a limited position that may convert to career.
Salary Range: $28.60 – $49.13 Hourly
