Description

Under supervision of the Principal Investigator and Laboratory Manger, the Laboratory Helper provides support to help with basic laboratory maintenance and provide supervised technical support to members of the research team. Laboratory duties will include assisting the Laboratory Manager with the maintenance of laboratory stocks, evaluating inventories of supplies and consumables, waste disposal, and autoclaving glassware and instruments. The Laboratory Helper will be trained to engage in supervised expansion and isolation of plasmids, molecular cloning, and maintenance of mouse and human cancer cell lines. Hourly Salary Range: $17.05 – $28.00
