Department: PACS Administration

Shift:  Day

Working Hours:  0800-1700

Summary:

Imaging Fulfillment Specialist – will work closely with the Imaging Department’s physicians/radiologists and clinical staff, perform and manage accurate and efficient image and record management, follow through on critical imaging and patient records requests, fulfill imaging requests, index and process documents within the Imaging Department and other duties assigned by clinic coordinator and management.

 

Other information:

1. One year computer experience in a medical office setting.
2. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
3. Knowledge of medical terminology and clerical procedures.
4. Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
5. Strong time management and organizational skills for use in a high volume, deadline driven environment.
6. Computer and other basic office equipment skills including basic network/ file management.
7. Technical skills and knowledge to request, upload and maintain patient records.
8. Ability to gain understanding of various types of documents, correspondence, and the processes for various lines of imaging fulfillment as well as analyzing the content of documents.
9. Proven ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
10. Ability to manage fluctuating volumes of work.
11. Competent in a variety of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
12. Multitasking abilities and attention to detail and accuracy with little room for error is a must.

 

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
