About the Role:

Job Summary

The Educational Coordinator is responsible for all activities that support the Southeast Consortium Educational Conference as well as other educational programs. The coordinator demonstrates problem solving, decision-making skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with individuals/groups. It requires highly developed communication, interpersonal skills as well as independent judgement and ability to handle stressful situations.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manages the annual Southeast Consortium Educational Conference to include initial set up and management of the program.
  • Creates, manages and reconciles annual budget.
  • Liaises with course directors, consortium and industry supporters and sponsors to plan and executive conference goals.
  • Builds schedules for all project phases: planning, proposal development, fundraising, web design, faculty database creation, bidding schedules, registration launch, venue sourcing, floorplan review, virtual event transition and post event reporting.
  • Manages marketing campaign social media management and partnerships.
  • Manages website and graphic design of marketing materials.
  • Works collaboratively to prepare and distribute conference schedules, notifying the presenters involved of date, time, location and subject; schedules outside speakers and trainers for educational programs.
