Summary

Position Summary:  We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst I - FP&A to join our team at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. The Financial Analyst I - FPA will work with minimal supervision and be able to solve complex problems while maximizing and mastering the use of the available financial tools.  The Financial Analyst I - FPA will assemble and summarize data, thus producing sophisticated reports on financial operations.  The Financial Analyst I - FPA will be asked to attend regular meetings, and interact with managers and other personnel, on a routine basis, and serve on various committees or teams.  Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting

License/Registration/Certifications:

  • Proficiency in Excel and a high understanding of database programs

Preferred Requirements:

Preferred Education:

  • Master's degree in a Business related field

  • Collaborate with employees, managers, directors, and Vice Presidents within the organization
  • Interaction with other employees, managers, directors, and Vice Presidents in the organization
  • Ensures that financial analysis, data files, and reports are accurate.
  • Preparation and Review of Productivity Reports
  • Month End Financial Review and Analysis
  • Detailed analysis of Revenues and Expenditures
  • Project Analysis, Support, and Management as assigned
  • Assist in the annual budget process by performing financial and operational roles accurately and timely
  • Ability to use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Other duties as assigned
