Position Description
Supports the program Director by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the program.
Major/Essential Functions
Supports the fellowship program Directors, fellows, and residents by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing, and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the programs. Facilitating onboarding and offboarding, accurately entering data into MedHub, managing the closing of clinics, and coordinating travel. Required to attend meetings, coordinate, and train with the Program Manager.
Occasional Duties
Provide backup support for the Internal Medicine Residency Program which includes distribution of mail, and assist with travel.
Required Qualifications
High school plus six years experience in related field. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) guidelines for Pulmonology Medicine and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of CPM, Cerner, and TTUHSC systems.
