Description

 

The Department of Surgery is seeking to hire a full time Executive Medical Student Coordinator. In this role you will collaborate with the clerkship chair and be responsible for the administrative management of the clerkship across all affiliate sites during this required educational experience for 2nd year medical students at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. In partnership with the clerkship chair, you will maintain accreditation standards and serve as a liaison between medical students, dean’s office staff, and faculty and staff at multiple affiliate campuses. The principal coordinator may also serve as site coordinator for clerkship activities for UCLA-based students. You will also support, develop, initiate and/or direct a wide range of programmatic activities including but not limited to: long- and short-term curricular planning; project management; coordinating orientation activities during required intersession; policy oversight; effective communication with faculty, learners, university staff; and internal and external program relations. You will support learners in areas such as curriculum, teaching and learning activities, scheduling, assessment, and evaluations.

Pay Range: $25.95 – $54.50 hourly
