Position Description
Performs administrative and coordinative work in direct support of an executive officer, including such functions as planning, budgeting, supervision and program implementation and evaluation. Performs responsible and complex office support duties, thus relieving the administrator of these duties. Work is performed under administrative supervision with evaluation based on results obtained.
Major/Essential Functions
- Performs a wide variety of complex clerical and support-oriented tasks, including communications on behalf of our Executive Director and/or Managing Director for Operations for the Comprehensive Cancer Care. Tasks would include maintaining multiple schedules and meeting coordination for the team.
- Assist in the procurement of Comprehensive Cancer administrative-related expenses, including but not limited to office supplies, registrations, food and entertainment, memberships and subscriptions.
- Reconcile PCard, Travel and reimbursements, and facilitate procurement through TechBuy.
- Manage logistics for meetings, including food and beverage business needs.
- Proactively identify and ensure timely communication about emerging or high-priority items to minimize Comprehensive Cancer Care efforts.
- Provide executive support to relationships between various stakeholders, including community partners and external relations.
- Foster collaboration, partnerships, and opportunities that align with the TTUHSC’s vision.
- Handle sensitive information at the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required in related area plus six years progressively responsible administrative experience including supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or experience to equal ten years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Experience in managing calendars and schdules.
- Experience in travel coordination and/or event planning.
