Working Hours:  8a-5p

Summary:
Assists the VP of Patient Care in the following: directing the Nursing service at BHMC-LR, develops patient care programs, policies & procedures, develop & implement organizational plans for providing nursing care, participates with governing body, management, medical staff, and clinical leaders in the organization's decision-making structures & processes; oversee departmental budgets of assigned departments; ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Dept of Health, and other regulatory agencies. Serves as Department Director for Med-Surg areas of the hospital including Wound Care, Centralized Transports, Discharge Centers, House Supervisor and acts a liaison in Med surg joint ventures.

Other information:
Registered Nurse license in the state of Arkansas, Master of Science in nursing required. Must have at least 5 years experience in a progressive Healthcare leadership position and a minimum of 5 years Nursing experience.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
