Description

The Center for Continuing Professional Development (CCPD) (formerly the Office of Continuing Medical Education) is responsible for the administration, accreditation, and presentation of David Geffen School of Medicine’s continuing medical education (CME) activities. We host a multitude of conferences/events to support the ongoing educational needs of physicians and other healthcare professionals domestically and internationally. To support our mission, we are seeking a student assistant to support shot-term and medium-term projects.

Hourly Salary Range: $17.05 – $28.00

Qualifications

Required:
* Registered UCLA Students only.
* Must be able to work in a hybrid remote environment transparently and effectively.
* Excellent data entry skills and the ability to enter data with accuracy and efficiency.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments.
* Ability to be patient, accountable, proactive, and take the initiative.
* Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills with the ability to speak diplomatically with staff, managers, and physicians.
* Demonstrated ability to be punctual and maintain strong and acceptable attendance.
* Ability to work various days/shifts and occasional weekends.
* Willingness and ability to travel to various locations periodically with reliable transportation.
* Able to commit to at least six months.
