Job Description

Overview

Provide clinical instruction for RDMS students according to ultrasound practice standards. Performs ultrasound exams/procedures in accordance with established professional and departmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties as an Ultrasound Technologist per the Ultrasound Tech position responsibilities.
• Is proficient in supervision, instruction and evaluation.
• Utilizes defined educational activities such as competency and clinical demonstrations to support individual development.
• Demonstrates leadership traits and acts as a positive role model for students.
• Provides support to staff technologists to assure appropriate interaction and training of students.
• Actively participates in academic affiliations and collaborative partnerships.
• Provides weekly opportunity for dialogue with students to address successes and/or opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

Beebe is partnered with DTCC as a clinical site for their RDMS students. With ultrasound techs being in such high demand, having students rotate through Beebe provides us an opportunity for securing recruitment upon their graduation.
