Position Description
Analyzes and coordinates office services such as personnel, budget preparation and control, fiscal affairs, equipment utilization, records control, and special management studies.
Major/Essential Functions
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining evaluation and assessment systems for the Office of Professional Development, encompassing faculty development (FD) and accredited continuing education (ACE).
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, support institutional goals, and facilitate continuous quality improvement through data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborate with program coordinators and regional staff to evaluate the impact of educational activities on knowledge, competence, performance, and, where appropriate, patient outcomes.
- Support accreditation reporting, including compliance with Joint Accreditation and the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME).
- Work closely with faculty development and ACE staff, including regional office representatives from the Permian Basin and Amarillo campuses, to ensure consistent data collection, program evaluation, and reporting across all sites.
- Help design and deploy evaluation tools for faculty development and accredited continuing education activities, including pre- and post-assessments and participant feedback surveys.
- Collect, organize, and clean data to ensure accuracy and integrity, and collaborate with staff to align learning objectives with measurable outcomes.
- Prepare clear, concise reports and visual summaries using tools such as Excel, Qualtrics, and Power BI to distribute findings to stakeholders to support planning and accreditation needs.
- Compile data for accreditation submissions, including those required by Joint Accreditation and the LCME, while maintaining organized documentation and support systems like Joint Accreditation’s PARS platform and internal institutional reports.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance educational quality using evaluation findings.
- Participate in internal quality improvement meetings and ensure evaluation results to inform decision-making align with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with program coordinators, faculty development and ACE staff, and regional campus representatives to standardize evaluation practices across sites.
- Provide training and support in the use of data collection tools and communicate results effectively to a variety of stakeholders.
- Assist with special projects, data requests, or administrative tasks that may fall outside of routine responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in job related field plus two (2) years responsible related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal six (6) years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of professional experience in data analysis, assessment, evaluation, or related roles.
- Experience in data collection and evaluation methods, including quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Qualtrics, or survey development platforms.
- Experience reporting data to stakeholders.
