Description
Join our Vision Rehabilitation Center, a multi-specialty optometry group practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in Westwood. The Vision Rehab Center, under the Department of Ophthalmology, encompasses low vision rehabilitation, optometric primary care, refractions, contact lenses, research study visits, and the UCLA Executive Health Program. We are looking for a team member who is dependable and committed to creating a positive experience for both patients and providers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Schedule all patient appointments, manage check-in/check-out processes
- Respond to a high volume of diverse phone inquiries
- Collect patient payments at the time of service, prepare and submit billing information to the department’s business team
- Assist with pre-authorization processes to support patient access to care
- Provide occasional support in rooming patients and cleaning exam rooms between visits
- Maintain the office calendar, including doctors’ meetings, travel schedules, staff shifts, and work-study coverage to ensure smooth daily operations.
