Department: Occupational Health
Shift: PRN
Working Hours: 8-5 Monday through Friday as needed
Summary:
The Occupational Health Nurse is a registered nurse who independently observes and assesses a worker's health status in relation to their job tasks and potential hazards. Leveraging their specialized experience and education, these registered nurses are responsible for recognizing and preventing health effects from hazardous exposures, treating work-related injuries and illnesses, and managing work injuries for client companies.
Other information:
Required: RN with current Arkansas license. A minimum of 1 year clinical experience. At least 1 year of supervisory experience. Certification in Occupational Health (COHN or COHN-S) is required within two years of hire.
Preferred: Previous Occupational Health experience.
Required Skills & Knowledge: Venipuncture Skills. Ability to organize, communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing. Ability to teach and work with others in an effective manner. Must possess excellent interpersonal and team skills and exceptional customer service skills.
