We’re looking for a dedicated Emergency Department (ED) Monitor (EKG) Tech to join our dynamic team. In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for continuously monitoring patients’ heart rhythms, vital signs, and respiratory rates at the Central Monitor Station. You’ll play a crucial role in detecting changes like arrhythmias, fluctuations in heart rate, and other vital signs, while quickly alerting RNs when necessary.
You’ll also handle tasks like obtaining EKG strips, documenting key intervals, managing patient admissions and discharges from telemetry monitors, and keeping equipment running smoothly. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, this is the job for you!
