JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Description

In this role you will be responsible for performing cashier functions in the hospital Cafeteria and its coffee bar. As a Cashier, you will multitask between preparing beverages and processing transactions. Responsibilities include:

Process customer transactions on a computerized cash register station
Follow beverage recipes and coffee standards
Maintain and organize work station for cleanliness and orderliness, ensure that areas are appropriately filled and stocked
Reconciliation of daily cash reports and securing deposits in a proper manner
Assist assigned areas including food service stations as required by operational needs

This is a part-time “as needed” per diem position; schedule and working hours will vary.

Effective 06/22/2025, employees represented by the AFSCME Union will receive a minimum wage of $25.
