JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Description

As a Principal Food Service Worker, you’ll serve meals to patients, visitors, and staff at the Santa Monica Hospital Cafeteria. You’ll work at both hot and cold stations, serving prepared dishes, making sandwiches, answering basic food‑related questions, and keeping each station stocked and looking good.

Responsibilities include:

Setting up service lines for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Pre-plating food items
Restocking stations, including beverages
Supporting operations as a food runner, floor person, or tray person
Displaying and merchandising food items so they’re appealing and easy to access
