Senior Provider Liaison

Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.

Summary:
The Senior Provider Liaison collaborates with the Director to develop and implement strategies to foster and strengthen relationships and support providers in alignment with organizational goals and objectives. The Senior Provider Liaison plans and coordinates physician relations initiatives, activities, and programs, including analysis of overall effectiveness and fiscal management. Responsible developing in conjunction with Director, standard process across provider relations, education, development, and training along with mentoring and training new team members and utilizing lean methodology to lead A3 projects for provider relations.
Responsibilities:
Develops and implements strategies to recognize and retain physicians and advanced practice professionals in the community and hospital through a variety of high-level, creative and innovative mechanisms; Leads the team in social/networking events for the entire medical group (along with their families as applicable) including years of service awards banquets, social mixers, family fun days and National Doctor’s Day and APP week events; Collaborates with various departments to provide hospital tours to providers and staff to experience various departments / new services of Onvida Health; Plans and coordinates annual appreciation event for physicians, and APPs.
Leads and facilitates immigration process for employed providers and oversees the state loan repayment program for employed providers.
The senior liaison seeks opportunities to improve and streamline process, and procedures. Thereby participating in the development of standardization of process, workflows and procedures across provider relations roles. Trains and mentors new relations team members. Applies lean methodology to identify, lead and present A3 projects for provider relations team.
Educates providers, key community employers and ambulatory areas on new services available at the hospital, ambulatory clinics or important changes. Responsible for monthly tracking and data reporting for new and terminated providers and detailed analytics as assigned. Leads collaboration with community relations team on pertinent provider information, and updates to align how the physician or APP is marketed to the community and our internal providers/staff (website, bio cards, road shows, and meet & greets). Produce, update and distribute quarterly Ambulatory Clinic list to key community employers and Onvida Health teams and community relations. Collaborates with provider admin team and community relations in development of provider promotional or educational materials, social media/digital posts for Onvida Health employee Facebook page.
Standardizes and regulates the physician and APP onboarding and orientation process based on individual provider specialties and provider relationship to the organization; Directs and oversees new physician and APP HR onboarding along with oversight of the annual provider educational training and development and tracking mechanisms. This also includes additional training as determined by director and medical group leadership along with regulatory requirements.; Leads collaboration with hospital marketing department in the development of all new physician/APP marketing plans for the community and our internal providers/staff (website, bio cards, road shows, and meet & greets). Provides concierge level service to providers throughout the relocation, and onboarding to include meeting and escorting during their orientation and providing support throughout their transition.
Delegates responsibility to provider liaisons and support staff and oversees the progress of team’s assigned tasks.
Manages Provider Recruitment and Relations projects and initiatives assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Associates Degree
Three (3) or more years provider liaison experience at Onvida Health.
Obtain Provider Onboarding or related professional certification through AAPPR or similar industry organization within 18 months.
