Under the direction of PMHP leadership, you will create dynamic online learning content and systems to support ACT/FACT workforce development, training, coaching, and consultation for providers in California focused on addressing the challenges of adults who are severely impaired by mental health and/or substance use disorders and often experience homelessness or incarceration. You will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team composed of subject matter experts, mental health clinicians, trainers, programmers, and fidelity reviewers. Responsibilities include the development of mental-health themed training courses and materials informed by strong knowledge of instructional design principles and practices (e.g. ADA compliance, learning theories, interactive training and learning design, online/e-learning design principles, distance learning, instructor-led training, self-paced instruction, and evaluation methods). Duties and tasks will include:

  1. Intervention and Training Materials Development
  1. Develop high quality and timely training course content and products in partnership with subject matter experts, clinical and programming staff, contractors, and other stakeholders
  2. Design, develop, implement, and maintain the infrastructures (i.e., learning management system) required to support online learning
  3. Infuse current developments and best practices in the e-learning field to inform course content, training strategies, and instructional design
  4. Utilize appropriate training content and methods that meet identified instructional strategies to maximize the efforts of training curricula developers
  5. Organize and curate existing content to improve and streamline efforts
  6. Structure training material and course content that is appropriate for and accessible to a full range of end-users
  7. Working closely with the Media core, ensure that content is presented in a fluid and engaging manner when converting live, recorded trainings into an asynchronous format

  1. Evaluation
  1. Support development of evaluation strategies for online content, including formative, summative, and performance-based measures
  2. Utilize evaluation and user data to inform continuous system improvement and identification of new content
  3. Prepare reports and dashboards of online system utilization by end-users for communication with key stakeholders.

  1. Project Management
  1. Incorporate results from community- and system-level needs assessments to create dynamic learning systems
  2. Work with the Training Core to ensure that online content meets qualifications for continuing education (i.e., CEU/CME) approval
  3. Develop and implement special projects as needed and assigned
  4. Initiate and perform other e-learning projects as assigned

Pay Range: $68,800.00 – $141,000.00 annually.
