UCLA Health is seeking a Nursing Professional Development Specialist (NPDS) to lead and inspire professional growth among our Emergency Department nursing team at the Ronald Reagan Medical Center in Westwood, CA. If you have a passion for empowering clinicians through education, advancing evidence-based practice, and elevating the standard of care, this is your opportunity to shape the future of nursing at one of the nation’s top academic medical centers.

As the NPDS for the RRMC Emergency Department, you will:

  • Champion required education, clinical training, and ongoing professional development
  • Design and deliver engaging learning experiences rooted in adult learning theory
  • Drive clinical excellence through competency management and skill-building in evidence-based care
  • Collaborate with nursing leaders and interdisciplinary teams to align educational strategies with the unit’s goals and evolving patient needs
  • Support a culture of inquiry, innovation, and continuous learning in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

This role is ideal for a dynamic educator with a passion for developing others, a deep understanding of emergency nursing, and the ability to translate learning into exceptional patient outcomes.

Salary (CNE4): $124,600 – $289,400 Annually

Salary (CNE3): $112,900 – $256,900 Annually

Note: This position is eligible for an annual bonus.
