Summary:

The Donor Database and Services Associate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date donor records, processing donations, and tracking pledges. Shall provide excellent donor service, including invoicing, thanking donors, and disbursing tax receipts in a timely fashion, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns. Will work with the CRM system, Raiser’s Edge; One Cause; and PayPal. Will recommend and provide training in Rasier’s Edge for staff regarding updates and back-office processes. Generate reports, pull data for mailings and analysis, and conduct wealth research and screenings to grow our constituent base.

The Associate will work collaboratively with Baptist Health’s departments of Marketing and Communications; Finance; and our external accounting consultants. Staff support at events can occur outside normal business hours and at times, the Donor Database and Services Associate may need to be present. This position will report to the Chief Development Officer.

Other information:

  1. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience using Raiser’s Edge or a comparable donor CRM platform required; Raiser’s Edge Administrator Certification preferred.
  2. At least 2 years fundraising experience in a nonprofit setting is required.
  3. Minimum of 2 years’ experience conducting online donor prospect research.
  4. Working knowledge of PayPal, OneCause, and website management applications preferred.
  5. Experience with event management software and merchant services software.
  6. Proficient in writing and grammar. Writing for donor solicitation preferred.
  7. Working knowledge of essential accounting practices is preferred.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  9. Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Teams.
  10. Time management skills, multi-tasking with high attention to detail, analytical, and accuracy are essential.
  11. Adherence to deadlines and strong organizational skills are required.
  12. Requires strong oral communication skills, superior interpersonal skills.
  13. Ability to work independently in a self-directed manner and in collaboration with others.
  14. Must have demonstrated ability to work with all demographics and types of backgrounds.
  15. Must have demonstrated ability to keep information in strict confidence.
  16. Must be able to work some night and weekend events.

  18. A current valid driver's license and safe driving record is required.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
