What You Will Do:

-The Vice President Total Rewards (VPTR) will understand how Total Rewards supports the overall organizational strategy of the system; and be able to track and adapt to changes in the organizational strategy.  They will collaborate with System and Local executives, HRBPs and the SSC Lead to deliver high-quality compensation, health and welfare benefits, and retirement benefits services tailored to the system.  He or She will partner with Talent Acquisition and local leadership to develop and deliver Total Rewards packages that are competitive within each region and in line with organizational objectives.  The VPTR will have ultimate accountability for the success of Total Rewards programs.  This role will also maintain the Total Rewards budget as well as act as a responsible steward for the management of the budgets/expenses for the employee health plan and retirement plan.

What You Need to Be Successful:

Education and Experience

 

  • 10 years of experience in Total Rewards – including experience in both Compensation and Benefits -  within in a 2 billion dollar health care system or larger
  • Executive compensation experience required
  • At least 8 years of Management experience
  • Master’s degree required (if the candidate has significant experience and has not completed their degree,  must be obtained within 3 years of hire date
